Aatam 100 Vaagai 3
For non-Tamil speakers, Aattam 100 Vaagai means 100 types of dances..haha..that is the direct translation. More precisely, A100V is a dance competition. The international finals was just over. It was fabulous. There were participants from Malaysia (duh), Singapore(yeah, whatever), India (yay!), Mauritius, and Sri Lanka. They each strut their stuff on the dance floor and I really enjoyed the show. Malaysia put in two worthy opponents: Ne'wera Dancers and X-Treme Dancers. These guys weren't bad at all ya' noe. And the front guy of Ne'wera Dancers was oh-so-cute...haha..really, ain't kidding. So ok..the point is..both troupes did fine.
The troupe from Singapore..damn...they were of da hook!...for real. They did fantastic in both rounds. The prepared and impromptu one...*hats off to ya' dude!*(dudes)..hehe...The Mauritius babes were sooo graceful in their prepared routine but in the second round, their performance wasn't that good. Don't blame them one bit. I mean, for one, there is the language barrier...it was kinda unfair ya' noe....but you know what they say...an opponent has got to do what an opponent got to do...oh ok..actually there isn't such a saying-but you get what I'm trying to say. It was after all a competition and each participant will have their plus and minus points.
The girls from Sri Lanka really had the thang goin on la...There was this one girl, man....could she shake her hips or what?!....She looked sooo flexible and was creative in her moves....Pity all of them in the troupe weren't as good as her...

Well, I did expect the results....but was a tad little shocked that Sri Lanka was not in the top three. Singapore walked away with RM 50 000. Malaysia's troupe, Rivera Dancers were the Viewers' Choice Champion. nener nener neeenerrr!!!...lol..Overall this show was entertaining. Added shows included the Boomerangx and a couple of Beatbox-ing by one of the show's anchors together with a few members of the audience. Hmm....that was it la...can't wait for next year's show........
